Intro to Suicide Prevention in the Veteran Community

Mission

To provide experiences and education on finding victory in the face of suicide as it relates to military veterans

Vision

For ALL members of the community to gather together for the purpose of impacting veterans that are struggling to find a positive identity and mission in life.  

What To Expect

This event typically lasts 3-4 hours and presentations are given by the Operation Shockwave Founder, Andrew Jones as well as Operation Shockwave Trainers, Sande Roberts and CaS Facciponti on (but not limited to):


  • Personal testimony of overcoming suicide as a veteran
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Communication Styles
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)

Following the presentations is a Panel Discussion to answer any questions and address any issues brought up by attendees.  


This event is provided FREE OF CHARGE and we will provide snacks and refreshments. Community organizations are encouraged to attend to leave information and resources.
